For versatility, there’s the 3900 Series, which features a selection of manual-fold, hydraulic-fold in 12- and 16- bi-fold configurations high capacity models are offered in 12-, 14- and 18 wheel models. All feature ground-hugging flotation and 55” diameter rake wheels to sweep fields clean.

Because rake wheels are mounted on the inboard side of the folding frame, there are no restrictions to a continuous flow of high volume hay. There’s nothing to keep the windrow from making a clean exit, either, thanks to the overhead frame at the rear.

Hesston v-rakes cover a lot of ground quickly to handle the needs of big acreage and large balers. The 5000 Series, which fold vertically to combine economy with the capacity of 8-, 10- and 12-wheel configurations.

The 5000 Series models differ in the fact that the wheels are mounted in pairs on pivoting brackets, rather than individual arms. In addition, both wings fold upward – rather than forward – for easy transport.

One single-acting cylinder folds both wings without effort on the operator’s part. Yet, the machine is designed so you can easily lock the left-hand linkage, allowing only the right side of the rake to lower for single side raking.
